2015 Golf Outing

We held our 23rd Annual Golf Outing & Lobster Dinner at Silver Lake Golf Course on Friday, June 12, 2015. At the event, we presented our President's Award to Daniel J. Messina, Ph.D., President & CEO of Richmond University Medical Center. Robert Annicharico of Delco Pharmacy and Giulliana Pinzon of Sketchers Shoes were also honored at the event.

"To honor Dan Messina is particularly fitting, since the Have A Heart Foundation first began when I met co-founder Ed Mandrik while working at the cardiac rehabilitation center at St. Vincent's Hospital, which is now RUMC. After seeing people struggle to pay their medical bills, we decided to start a charitable organization to help Staten Islanders with heart disease," noted Julie Weissglass Cohen, Have A Heart co-founder. "We are proud to recognize Dan Messina and RUMC's commitment to helping Staten Islanders with heart and heart-related illnesses."

150 golfers participated in the event.
